I wanted to visit Albufeira's Igreja Matriz because of its historical significance and stunning architecture. The Apartamentos Olhos Do Mar, located in a convenient spot, pleasantly surprised me with its communal outdoor pool with a fabulous sea view. It was a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the wide variety of restaurants and shops nearby offered a delightful experience with local products and cuisine.
Difficult to find on arrival.

First class location in central Olhos d`Agua. Great sea views from our apartment, which also had it`s own private terrace and balcony.
There was regularly a bad smell from shower drains in the bathroom and despite buying bleach from the local supermarket, this didnt solve the problem. The decor and facilities looked dated and tired which is a shame for such well located apartments. If this place had a bit of a makeover and general upgrade, it could be one of the best apartment facilities in the area. All in all, it is decent value for money for people on a budget.

The accomodation was typical Portuguese style but spacious. The front desk is only open for limited times daily making it inconvenient if you arrive late. The pool area was lovely and every apartment had their own balcony or terrace. You are close to the village - within easy walking distance and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
There is no air conditioning but that wasn't a problem as the nights were always quite cool in June/July. August would be an issue. They to provide free fans at the front desk which was all I needed.

Excellent location, clean and spacious apartment, two balconies for sun, lovely host and staff, towels provided and changed regularly.
Nothing to fault.

pleasant reception (phone if you intend to arrive out of opening hours), spacious rooms, good for families, near an excellent beach, near shops restaurants etc, adequate facilities for cooking/eating, large private balcony away from traffic noise
fixtures need updating and there is poor attention to detail - broken socket, only one bedside light, wardrobe doors wouldn't slide shut, only three glasses for a 4 person appartment - and I had to ask reception for a hairdryer and a bath plug

Been here before but the place is now dirty and run down. Had to request clean towels. Beds not made etc. People trying to sell as luxury apts.
Cleaners did hardly anything. There is a large board on display at the entrance depicting luxury flats for sale @ 84,000 euros and as such it looks lovely, but this must be the "after refurbishment" as the rooms were in a poor state. It looks like the owners are allowing it to be rundown but still charging the going rate for inferios and substandard rooms.

Close proximity to just about everything, very helpful staff
No private balconies; just 4 portuguese channels on tv; sufficient, but very plain furnishing

Great location near bars and restaurants, plus just a short walk to the beach. The apartment was spacious and clean, with two balconies for enjoying the sun throughout the day. We appreciated the fact that our towels were changed every other day and the room and sheets were cleaned once a week.
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and squeaky, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The apartment itself was in need of some TLC, with outdated fixtures and a subpar shower.

The location of the accommodation was fantastic, with the beach, bars, and restaurants all within a short walking distance. the swimming pool was a great feature and provided a nice place to relax. The free parking was also a convenient perk, making it easy to come and go as we pleased.
They appeared to have not been changed from the previous guests, and it took multiple requests for them to be replaced. the lack of attention to detail was evident with a burnt-out light bulb in the bathroom that was not replaced despite our requests.

Huge spacious studio apartment. Great location. Within walking distance of inter marche supermarket great for cooking your own meals and snacks. Reception has certain hours. Be sure to check before getting there otherwise you may not get your key. Housekeeping is every other day. We paid 33euros/night in June.
